The Houston Council of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority announced a successful service year supporting The Arc of Katy at its Founder’s Day luncheon April 30

Celebrating 85 years, the international social and cultural sorority’s Houston Council held its Founder’s Day luncheon April 30 at Braeburn Country Club in Houston.
The fourteen Beta Sigma Phi chapters in the Houston Council supported The Arc of Katy by giving of their time to help with Arc socials and craft projects, donating needed supplies and equipment for its Day and Summer Camps and raising needed funds.
Prior to the luncheon the council had raised $11,114 and generous members raised the total to $12,000 for the year. The Houston Council also announced at the luncheon that The Arc of Katy was again selected by its members as the council service project for the 2016-2017 sorority year.
