Color for a Cause 5K to Benefit The Arc of Katy Featured

Color for a Cause is a fun 5k color run event hosted by James E. Taylor High School National Honor Society and Future Business Leaders of America benefiting The Arc of Katy. The event is Saturday, April 22, 2017, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at James E. Taylor High School, 20700 Kingland Blvd., Katy High School 77450. Proceeds will benefit The Arc of Katy, a local non-profit organization that works to create opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

We encourage you to support The Arc of Katy with us by participating in Color for a Cause! The event to be held at James E. Taylor High School is open to participants of all ages. The run will not be timed; it’s all for fun. In addition to the 5k route, there will be a shorter track available for those not able to participate in the 5k distance. Also, running is completely optional; participants are welcome to walk, stroll or even skip the whole way!

We hope to see you there! To complete the online registration visit: colorforacause.weebly.com

A tremendous benefit

Having a child with special needs is like being in a fraternity you didn’t elect to join. I am very happy and proud to be a part of the fraternity/community that is The Arc of Katy.

Distinct pleasure

I've had the distinct pleasure of watching The Arc of Katy grow from a small group of parents to a community of family, friends and professionals all with a common interest.
